Child & Family Services

The Child and Family Services Division offers intensive behavioral health services to children with developmental disabilities and mental or behavioral disorders, and support for their families. An experienced team of professionals are trained to assist children in developing skills to manage their behavior disorders while taking a family- centered approach. SequelCare staff provide services in the client's home as well as approved community settings. Each client is provided with a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plan that builds on the child's strengths and accomplishments.

  • Home and Community Based Treament (HCT)
  • HCT-PSB: Problem Sexual Behaviors
  • Rehabilitative and Community Support Services (RCS)
  • Outpatient Mental Health Services
  • Substance Abuse Counseling
  • Adolescent-Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA) with grant funding available in Waldo and Knox County
  • Children’s Targeted Case Management
  • Behavioral Health Home
Client Profile:
Children or youth up to the age of 21 who have:
  • A mental health diagnosis including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, attachment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • A need for intensive and frequent treatment (therapy and skill building)
  • A developmental disability: autism, intellectual disability (MR), Rhett's Syndrome, PDD
